Living in Beijing for so many years for the first time I go to the downtown with GF at Lantern Festival. Qian Men Street is interesting but seems somehow unreal. What we can see is nothing but people. I am afraid that it is hard to see so many people outside of China. Also it is the first time I saw KongMIng Lantern. It is interesting but a little scary since it reminded me of some Chinese scary movies. Anyway I have to admire that the acient Chinese are really smart.
It is almost two years that I did not write my blog. Probably there is no one to see this website. Anyway, I still can write something since honestly my writing is still bad enough.
First lucky to me that I received the offer of Post-Doc from MSU. It is mostly because Prof. Yuan fully supported me, or there is no hope that I can get this. Although Prof. Li said it is due to my hard work, I still have the clear mind. These days there is two inquiries from Belgium and India to ask me if I am still available to be included in their short list, but this is not good enough and I also do not want to waste their time.
PRL is still a dream, but one of the works is finishing and hope there is good luck for this too. Maybe I will have to buy a dinner for friends. But the paper work is still a hard work before finish the draft.
Yesterday I found that years in my life I always worried about losing and this thought took me too much burden. Anyway it is easier to throw the burden away.
What can I say? It seems that my writing is still lack of logic after so many years to stay in schools.
Spring Festival, time to go home (to work...). Also the foreigners call this "Lunar New Year".
